England all out 231

Bit like a collective IQ score for this shambles. What were those run-outs about. Is this worth paying £83 to watch at the Oval next week? I think we all know the answer

Could be worse – I’ve got tickets for this Saturday. Interesting when they panned round the field now, the looks on the England fielders face suggested that they already think they are beaten, with the exception of Pietersen.

    Nice blog,

Well since this match is basically a write off as i can’t see us doing any better than we have before and taking 20 wickets nor holding out for a draw, the final match is a dead rubber so it could be an opptunity to drop several players and replace them with county players who are in form.

I’d like to see Denly, Sales, Bopara brought in for Strauss, Bell, Collingwood. Shah also should be in looked at.

Ambrose should be replaced by Prior/Read

and S Jones, Kabir Ali also look good in the bowling stakes.

England look like a closed shop, understandable if England players were in good form themselves but Collingwood was dropped and returns after one test with no real return to form apparent while bopara is averaging 69.66 with the bat in county cricket and has taken 17 wickets so far.
