Seemed like an invitation to wander over to the Wisden Book of Test Cricket, wherein I learn that “Coningham took MacLaren’s wicket with his first ball in his only Test to claim the first instances of a wicket falling to the first ball of a Test match and to a bowler’s first delivery at this level”. I must now make a return journey to gather up the Book of Test Cricketers to find out who A Coningham was!
